Founding beta policy

Founding Beta Terms

These terms govern free, invitation-only use of Bid Rigor. The beta helps an invited business review public procurement information; it does not replace an official notice, legal advice, professional judgment, or the business’s own eligibility and bid/no-bid review.

Operator and contact

Bid Rigor is an independent product beta operated as a sole proprietorship. In these terms, “Bid Rigor,” “we,” and “Operator” refer to the individual operating under the Bid Rigor name. No limited liability company or corporation is represented as the current operator. Send legal or support notices to support@bidrigor.com. Bid Rigor is not operated by or endorsed by any Government entity.

Invitation and account access

  • An invitation permits account creation; it does not itself create a paid plan or guarantee continued access.
  • Each invitation is tied to one approved email address, expires, and may be used once. A separate secure email link verifies control of the account mailbox.
  • Invitation and sign-in links may not be posted publicly, forwarded, transferred, or used to bypass account limits.
  • You are responsible for protecting the verified mailbox and for promptly reporting unauthorized access.
  • Features, source coverage, rankings, and availability may change as the product is tested.

Service scope

  • Bid Rigor matches public federal and connected state opportunity records to a saved company profile.
  • Optional guided setup can suggest possible NAICS codes, capabilities, keywords, and stated exclusions for the customer to review.
  • Subcontracting Radar presents research signals from public federal award records; it does not confirm that a prime contractor is recruiting subcontractors.
  • An assigned beta tier may include opted-in scheduled opportunity briefs to the verified account email when qualifying matches exist.
  • Bid Rigor does not write or submit proposals, contact buyers, act as an agent, or represent a customer.

Free beta and complimentary grants

Founding-beta access is provided without charge and does not require a payment card. During the founding beta, the Operator may assign complimentary Free, Advantage, or Pro access. Access may have an expiration date or may remain active after commercial launch, as shown in the account. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is not a promise that every planned feature will be available on a particular date. Future paid plans, if launched, will require a separate affirmative purchase and then-current commercial terms.

Customer responsibility

You must verify dates, amendments, eligibility, set-aside status, requirements, award records, NAICS choices, and all other facts through the linked official source before acting. A match score is not a probability of award, a setup suggestion is not a certification or eligibility decision, and a research signal is not a business relationship or solicitation.

Authorized information

You represent that you are authorized to provide the company information in your profile and to request analysis of any public company homepage you submit. Do not provide classified information, CUI, source-selection or procurement-sensitive information, third-party proprietary material, proposal files, credentials, or sensitive personal information.

Optional profile-setup assistance

Guided setup is optional. Bid Rigor can prepare private starting points from the company description without sending profile text to OpenAI. If you separately choose AI-assisted suggestions, the sanitized description and any public-homepage text you approved will be sent to OpenAI for that request.

Nothing is added to the company profile automatically. You decide which suggestions to add and must confirm that the saved capabilities, keywords, exclusions, and NAICS codes accurately describe the company. The assistant does not determine or infer certifications, size status, set-aside eligibility, clearances, contract vehicles, or legal eligibility.

Setup assistance may be limited, paused, unavailable, or unable to interpret a description. You can always complete the profile manually.

Service administration and support

You acknowledge that the Bid Rigor owner may view account status, company profile information, representative contact information, access tier, and relevant beta activity when reasonably necessary to administer invitations and accounts, provide support, investigate security or delivery issues, operate the beta, and improve the service. Bid Rigor will not make your profile visible to other customers and will handle this access as described in the Privacy Notice.

Ownership, input license, and feedback

You retain ownership of company information you submit. You grant Bid Rigor a limited license to host, process, copy, display, and—only when you request an outside-assisted feature—send the selected material to the identified service provider as needed to deliver that feature. Public-source records remain subject to their source terms. You grant Bid Rigor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use suggestions and product feedback without identifying you or disclosing your confidential information. Bid Rigor retains its software, design, scoring methods, branding, and other product materials.

No warranty

The service is provided as available during the founding beta. Public sources can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or changed without notice. Profile-setup suggestions can be incomplete or unsuitable for a particular business and must be reviewed by the customer. Bid Rigor does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, eligibility, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, competitive outcome, or award.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service, a public-source error, an email delay, or a procurement decision. Total liability for claims relating to Bid Rigor will not exceed the greater of 100 U.S. dollars or the fees paid by you to Bid Rigor during the preceding six months. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable in the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, each party will give the other written notice and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally for 30 days. Any required venue will be a court with jurisdiction over the Operator’s principal place of business, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Account controls

Bid Rigor may suspend access for misuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, or violations of these terms. You may manage opportunity email under Email delivery and account deletion under Account. Security, consent, and abuse-prevention records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.
