Founding beta policy

Privacy Notice

Bid Rigor collects the account, company, delivery, and feedback information needed to operate the free invitation-only beta, return profile-specific results, secure access, and provide optional profile-setup assistance. A separate waitlist collects interest in the expanded free beta. Optional analytics measures visits to public pages when you allow it.

Optional website analytics

When available, you can allow or decline Google Analytics using the Analytics preferences controls at the bottom of our public pages. No Google Analytics script loads before you allow it. Your choice is stored on this browser for up to 180 days. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals keep analytics off.

If you allow analytics, Google receives public page views, the referring website origin, and technical browser, device and connection information needed to provide analytics. Analytics cookies recognize repeat visits and expire after 90 days unless renewed by a visit. We do not send account identifiers, email addresses, company profiles, form contents, or URL queries and fragments to Google Analytics. Login, invitation, waitlist, account, and administration pages are excluded. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization are disabled.

You can change your choice from Analytics preferences at the bottom of a public page. Declining stops subsequent collection and removes Bid Rigor’s Google Analytics cookies on this browser; it does not erase data already processed by Google. Contact privacy@bidrigor.com for questions.

Who operates this beta

Bid Rigor is an independent product beta. The individual operating under the Bid Rigor name is the controller responsible for the information described here. Contact privacy@bidrigor.com for privacy requests or support@bidrigor.com for general questions.

Earlier beta access requests

Direct beta access requests are closed. For requests submitted earlier, we retain the business name, unverified email address, optional work description, permission to contact you about the request, and review status. The Bid Rigor owner uses this information to review the request and prepare an invitation. A request does not create an account or enroll you in opportunity or marketing emails. Request information is retained while it is needed to review and administer beta access; you can ask privacy@bidrigor.com to delete it. Rate-limit records use protected identifiers rather than raw IP addresses.

Information collected

  • Verified email address, display name, hashed password, one-time-link and session records, invitation and policy-acceptance records, and limited security and rate-limit data.
  • Company name, public homepage, description, capabilities, NAICS codes, set-aside status, locations, source scope, agency preferences, keywords, and exclusions.
  • Opportunity decisions, match feedback, beta ratings, email preferences, delivery status, support messages, and private resumable profile drafts. Drafts do not change recommendations until you save the completed profile. Quality evaluations record the assessed business and notice, reviewer judgments, measured review cost when available, and reported time saved.
  • When you request profile-setup help: derived suggestions, the public company homepage address reviewed, content hashes, your processing choices and consent record, and limited provider-usage and error data. Bid Rigor does not retain the page’s raw HTML.
  • Public opportunity and award information from SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, and official state procurement portals.

How information is used

  • Authenticate invited customers, keep accounts separated, and prevent abuse.
  • Match public records to the saved company profile and display or email source-linked decision aids.
  • Prepare optional company-profile suggestions from a description and, only when requested, a public company homepage.
  • Operate and troubleshoot email delivery, measure beta usefulness, prioritize product improvements, and respond to support, privacy, and security requests.

Owner access for service administration

The Bid Rigor owner can view account status, the company profile, representative contact information, access tier, and beta activity through an owner-only administration area. This access is used only to administer invitations and accounts, provide support, investigate security or delivery problems, operate the beta, and improve the service. It does not make one customer’s profile visible to another customer.

Optional profile-setup assistance

Initial opportunity matching, email selection, and Subcontracting Radar scoring use saved criteria and rules. Completed optional company AI reviews may affect that company’s recommendations and opted-in briefs. Private guided suggestions can be prepared without sending profile text to OpenAI.

If you deliberately select AI-assisted suggestions, Bid Rigor sends the company description and any public-homepage text you separately approved to OpenAI for that request. Bid Rigor removes common email addresses, phone numbers, and links from that material before sending it, but you must still use only public, non-sensitive company information. The assistant does not automatically send representative fields, login details, opportunity history, or account identifiers.

Suggested fields are saved as a review draft. Nothing becomes part of the company profile until you choose an item and save the profile. The assistant does not determine or infer certifications, size status, set-aside eligibility, clearances, contract vehicles, or legal eligibility.

Optional company evidence and contract reviews

A company administrator can save project examples, capacity, qualifications, commercial constraints, and pursuit preferences. If the administrator enables AI decision support, Bid Rigor sends this saved business evidence and relevant public contract passages to OpenAI when a company member requests a review or an administrator requests follow-up questions. Representative contact fields, login information and internal account identifiers are excluded from those review prompts.

Administrators may upload authorized PDF, Word, or text business documents to prepare evidence drafts. Uploaded files are stored privately for the company and may be sent to OpenAI for extraction. Extracted claims are not used in recommendations until an administrator reviews and saves the evidence. Files can be downloaded or removed from the evidence page. Removing a file does not remove facts previously copied into the evidence fields; edit those fields separately.

Public solicitation extraction can be reused across companies. Company evidence, uploaded files, and company-specific analyses are separated by company workspace. Completed reviews may appear in that company’s matches and opted-in briefs without another AI request. Changed company facts or source documents require a new assessment. Disabling AI decision support removes saved company AI reviews; confirmed business evidence and uploaded documents remain until edited or deleted. Account deletion also removes company evidence, uploaded files, and company reviews. AI processing is requested without saved provider response state; provider security and retention practices still apply.

Qualification actions and source history

You can save company-private action titles, teammate assignments, follow-up dates, progress notes, and evidence links. Actions created from a qualification finding also retain its original public source quote. These records are visible to authorized company members and authorized service administration. Saving an action does not send its notes to an AI provider or send a follow-up email. Actions remain until removed or the company account is deleted; deleting a teammate clears their assignment from retained company actions.

Source-change records contain public notice details and are kept for 90 days through scheduled cleanup. Each company has separate review markers, which are removed with its account. History begins with tracking and does not reconstruct earlier notice versions.

Service providers and public sources

Bid Rigor uses infrastructure services from OpenAI and Cloudflare; neither provides the Bid Rigor account customers use. Resend processes sign-in and opted-in opportunity email. OpenAI processes business information for the optional AI features described above. No payment processor receives customer information during the free beta. Bid Rigor’s scheduled service retrieves public award records from USAspending for Subcontracting Radar.

What is not collected

Bid Rigor does not request or process payment-card information during the founding beta. Do not enter or upload classified information, CUI, source-selection information, proposal material, credentials, sensitive personal information, or third-party confidential information.

Beta waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email, first name, company, contracting interest, signup and confirmation times, consent version, and any campaign source tags in your signup link. We also retain the referring website hostname when available and a keyed hash for abuse prevention; we do not store your raw IP address in the waitlist. Source labels describe how a visit was tagged and are not independently verified.

We use this information to verify your signup and send the expanded free beta and waitlist-status updates you requested when those communications begin. Earlier public-launch entries retain their original product and public-launch consent; we do not change that recorded purpose when resending a confirmation. Resend processes the signup verification message. Authorized administrators can view and export the waitlist to administer it. Joining does not create a customer account, grant beta access, or purchase a subscription.

Use the removal link in your verification email to unsubscribe, or email privacy@bidrigor.com for access or deletion help. Waitlist preferences are separate from an existing customer’s opportunity alerts. We retain waitlist data while needed for the waitlist communications you requested or until deletion is requested, and may retain minimum consent and suppression records to honor your choices. We do not sell the waitlist or automatically enroll beta customers in it.

Email choices

Authentication, security, and legally required messages are service communications. Opportunity briefs are opt-in and can be paused from Email delivery or through the unsubscribe link. Waitlist updates use the separate recorded consent choice and require email confirmation.

Retention and deletion

Unused profile drafts are removed after 90 days. Quality evaluations are retained for up to one year and are removed with the associated company account. Profile, setup-assistance, and other product-use data is kept while the account is active or disabled, or as reasonably needed for security and legal obligations. Disabled, revoked, or expired accounts may remain visible to the owner for service administration. You can permanently delete the Bid Rigor account from the Account page; after deletion, the company profile and its setup drafts are removed from the owner directory. Security, consent, delivery, and abuse-prevention records may be retained where reasonably necessary or required. You may also email privacy@bidrigor.com for access or deletion help.

Security and choices

Bid Rigor uses expiring one-time links, secure sessions, separated customer records, verified email-provider notifications, protected service credentials, request checks, and browser safeguards. No online service can promise absolute security. Report a concern to security@bidrigor.com.
